OECD: OECD to launch Government at a Glance 2025 on Thursday 19 June

Press Release from OECD Media, Friday 13 June, 2025.

The OECD will release the ninth edition of its two-yearly overview of public governance, Government at a Glance 2025, on Thursday 19 June at 14:00 CEST/12:00 GMT.

Government at a Glance is the OECD’s flagship publication on public governance, providing a comprehensive overview of government performance. The 2025 edition presents the latest available data on government finances, employment, institutions, budgeting practices, risk management, and citizen satisfaction. It also features a special focus chapter on the theme of governing for the green transition, which illustrates the scope and scale of the long-term challenges governments face, as well as the critical importance of environmental policy co-ordination, as countries work toward climate goals while managing economic and social impacts.

OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann and Public Governance Director Elsa Pilichowski will present the report and its key findings during a live virtual event starting at 14:00 CEST (12:00 GMT) on Thursday 19 June. To register for online participation, go here.

Working with over 100 countries, the OECD is a global policy forum that promotes policies to preserve individual liberty and improve the economic and social well-being of people around the world.
