Rowena provides practical, commercial and strategic advice for financial services businesses operating, or seeking to establish operations, in Ireland advising a wide variety of domestic and international institutions on their obligations under Irish and EU financial services law. Rowena also works with an array of disruptive Fintech entrants to the Irish market on PSD2 and e-money licencing. Her work also includes advising in other areas of regulation, such as MiFID II, Solvency II, insurance distribution, banking and investment funds and how new technology can be used to service clients. Rowena advises on and assists clients with the evolving regulatory environment relating to Fintech to enable clients to proactively respond to new circumstances. Rowena supports clients on regulatory matters as their businesses evolve by using new technologies, including the introduction of policies and procedures, outsourcing issues, risk and compliance assessments and regulatory reporting.
