The European Union’s corporate-tax watchdog is removing the island country of Dominica from the EU’s tax haven blacklist, according to a memo obtained by Bloomberg News June 10. The island nation has committed to OECD standards, memo says.

The Caribbean island will be taken off the EU’s “list of non-cooperative jurisdictions for tax purposes” following its commitment to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development’s Multilateral Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance, the June 6 memo from the general secretariat of the Council of the European Union said.
