Insurance is among the Bermuda Monetary Authority's focuses in 2014 as the region looks to continue having strong financial regulations, reports Business Insurance.

The regulator will revise the region's insurance legislation in the second quarter to improve the process of filing requirements for captive insurers.

Revisions include a refined Statutory Financial Return model that will become an annual requirement for captives.
